I know I know, you may think I’ve totally lost all motivation..but I’m happy to say no I haven’t lost my spirit for the walk !
Sometimes I take a social media break on purpose and other times my life rolls into a heaping mess of business which needs unravelling, in other words no time to write :(.

So because I have been so terrible with my updates, I will add all three weeks in this one post, hold on to yer seats, but first a recap.
Week 7 – I actually hit over 95,000 steps however early in that week one day I dropped my fitbit and thought all was lost. I was thankful to find it later that evening but a whole day of walking was not recorded so I know that week was a good one.
Week 8- a little less motivated , but still averaging more than 8k a day
Week 9- picked up a little but had a migraine for almost 5 days, so it slowed me down for sure.
With my new workplace its been more difficult than I though to get into a routine of exercise and walking at lunch. Im doing better now, but I still need to really commit to walking at lunch or else hitting 10k/day is almost impossible.
Ill be losing one of my main motivations this weekend, a dog named Duke, however Im hoping my regular habit will be ingrained so deeply that I will not need this extra push after he leaves on Saturday.
He is a total sweetheart of a pup and a sweet soul of a dog which we have been caring for since February. Ill admit part of me wished many times in the cold months of February that I wished I didn’t have to go for that walk, but my commitment to this pup pulled me out and I thank him for it.
So here is the good, the bad & the great ! :), Still loving my Fit bit HR!!
Week 9- May 18-May 24th – Steps 88,826 – 61.65 km DAILY AVERAGE 8.81 km
Week 8- May 11-May 17th – Steps 85,360 – 59.24km DAILY AVERAGE 8.46 km
Week 7 – May 4th-May 10th- Steps 82,382 – 57.17km DAILY AVERAGE 8.17 km
