MY PLACE – POETRY , AFFIRMATIONS & MORE

Floating weightless on a cloud gently drifting

In my bed I sink further into a dreamless heavy sleep

Looking down I hover long enough to attest safety

As the wind curls beneath my spirit tickling my feet

In a blink miles away I was saturated in nature’s beauty

Perched over a mountains edge I scanned the earth below

So much higher than I ever dreamed of flying nor could imagine

Without wings I glided soundless face and heart aglow

I closed my eyes and soared high close to the heavens

A warm wind nudged me from the golden gates above

It’s not your time I heard an angel’s voice gently whisper

Your world still needs your heart and your compassionate love

Awakened refreshed I felt I slept for the first time

The first time in many years my spirit found peace

Many years I lay dreamless without safety

But now In my journey I lovingly released

Release all that keeps your inner soul from flying high

keep forgiveness into your heart , and love in your smile
