His image fades as she frantically beckons to him
Behind her fluttering eyes, she lay asleep in a dream
The world alive in a place never seen
As hungry whiskers nudge her lazy eyes awake
Its dinnertime somewhere, please fill my plate.

That’s definitely how I woke up this morning! Sigh.
(As a quick note, in moderated weeks we count every single word in your post – we’ve had people in the past try to sneak in extra words under cover of “footnotes” – so the word count and written by footnotes would need to come out to make this post have the correct word count. We try to draw the line fairly so in order for us not to be making judgment calls all the time about why one footnote is ok but another isn’t we just forbid them all. Just something for everyone to be aware of.)

Yeah, I have a couple of those hungry whiskers at my house. They do like to interrupt the best dreams!

I don’t let them in the room when I’m sleeping, but that doesn’t stop them from interrupting my dreams with their meowing at the door!

Yes I’ve tried that and mine don’t meow, they have evolved into a deep throat meow sound of “helllooooo”….and the guilt is just too much. 🙂

Cute. I wish I had a kitty to wake me instead of an 85 lb pup!
Jan 01, 2015 @ 12:11:57
Whoa I bet those big paws are much less forgiving! I love pups too. 🙂
